Take the Kids to Vote on Tuesday

The Exercise Pill

If you don’t like exercising you’re definitely not alone in your aversion. However, soon there may be a solution for you - in a form of a pill. Scientists from the Salk institute for Biological studies in California have developed a drug that imitates the effect on exercise on the body. This discovery can have great implications for patients with muscle diseases such as wasting and frailty, as well as obesity and for the many associated metabolic disorders where exercise is known to be beneficial but physically difficult to perform.
